Five house and medical officers believe that the HWCITF may be biased without representation of trainee doctors on the task force that’s probing MOH’s work culture.
HWCITF’s 23-page survey with 44 questions on health care work culture requires Google sign-in, email add, grade, state, work facility type, tenure, age, gender, marital status, and ethnicity, besides asking supervisors to admit if they’ve bullied others.
We must accept that harassment exists in our workspaces. and that it has largely been ignored or ridiculed when brought to the attention of the authorities.
Khairy Jamaluddin says the Healthcare Work Culture Improvement Task Force will seek views from groups representing junior doctors so that HWCITF can produce a balanced and fair report.
The Healthcare Work Culture Improvement Task Force, chaired by ex-MOSTI sec-gen Siti Hamisah Tapsir, comprises 8 other members, including ex-CIMB human resource head Hamidah Naziadin.
