KUCHING, June 17 — Sarawak has reported an additional Covid-19 case, a family member of the state’s Patient 557 in Bintulu, after three other family members of that patient contracted the coronavirus.
This leads to a total of 561 cases in the state as of today.
A total of 17 patients-under-investigation were newly reported today, while 11 cases are still awaiting test results.
The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee has also decided to allow participants of Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H), who have already been quarantined and screened for Covid-19, to enter Sarawak without having to be quarantined again.
Express and other buses can operate in Sarawak at 100 per cent capacity from today. School vans are also allowed to operate at full capacity when school resumes on June 24.
Licensed gambling operators have also been allowed to operate from June 19, while markets can resume operations from June 20.
