MOH says HLP subspecialty training application results will be out by June 16, two weeks ahead of the July 1 training commencement date, as it stresses that this year's intake wasn't cancelled due to budget cuts.

Doctors Ask If HLP Subspecialty Training Sacrificed Under Budget Cuts

Doctors are asking MOH if the annual HLP subspecialty training intake for 2026 has been cancelled or postponed due to budget cuts. Applicants are left in limbo because results are still not out, three weeks ahead of the traditional July 1 commencement.

MOH To Offer More HLP Scholarships, Parallel Pathway Slots Amid MMC Dispute

The MOH will increase the number of HLP slots from 1,220 slots for the 2020/21 session to 1,650 slots for the 2024/25 session. MOH will also raise the number of parallel pathway slots to 600. Parallel pathway fields were expanded to 14 fields for 2022/23.
