Subang MP Demands Higher Cigarette Taxes After GEG Decoupled From Tobacco Bill

Wong Chen (PH-Subang) says the only other acceptable political compromise to dropping the GEG from the Control of Smoking Products for Public Health Bill 2023 is to increase the excise duty rate for tobacco. Cigarette taxes haven't been raised since 2015.
