SINGAPORE, July 28 — Bayer has appointed Simon Rosof as Head of Asia Pacific for its Pharmaceuticals Division, effective July 1, 2026. Based in Singapore, he will also serve as Country Division Head for the Asean cluster, overseeing business strategy and performance across Southeast Asia.
Rosof takes on the role at a time when Asia Pacific is playing an increasingly important role in shaping the future of health care, driven by growing patient needs, rapidly evolving health care systems, and rising demand for innovative treatments.
Asia Pacific is home to more than 2.6 billion people and some of the world’s most dynamic health care systems. Rising health care investment, increasing demand for innovative treatments, and evolving patient needs are creating new opportunities to expand access to health care and improve patient outcomes across the region.
As health care systems continue to advance, Asia Pacific is playing an increasingly important role in driving medical innovation, strengthening health care partnerships, and helping bring new medicines to more patients.
With more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Rosof brings expertise in commercial strategy, general management, portfolio leadership, and market development.
Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Product and Pipeline for Bayer Pharmaceuticals in the United States, leading commercialisation across oncology, cardiovascular and renal, and women’s health care, spanning both marketed brands and pipeline assets.
As a member of Bayer’s US Pharmaceuticals and Worldwide Markets leadership teams, he played a key role in shaping the company’s pharmaceutical growth strategy and advancing Bayer’s mission of “Health for all, Hunger for none”.

Throughout his career, Rosof has held leadership positions across Bayer and Bristol Myers Squibb, including serving as General Manager for Bristol Myers Squibb Singapore. He has worked across oncology, cardiovascular, renal, hematology, virology, metabolic diseases, and women’s health.

Before joining the pharmaceutical industry, Simon began his career in financial services with Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch in New York City. He holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Amherst College.
