KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 21 – Senior citizens aged 60 and older will have more walk-in options from Monday (January 24, 2022) in the Klang Valley for their booster jabs.
ProtectHealth Corporation Sdn Bhd CEO Anas Alam Faizli today announced that the new offsite Covid-19 vaccine centres (PPVs) are the MPAJ Cheras Baru, the Calvary Convention Centre at Bukit Jalil, the Grand Season Hotel at Titiwangsa, the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), and the Bandar Tun Razak Commercial Community Centre.
Offsite PPVs are centres where the provider handles the entire venue and vaccination process.
This is in addition to the four integrated PPVs — the World Trade Centre PPV at Kuala Lumpur, Axiata Arena PPV at Bukit Jalil, Ideal Convention Centre at Shah Alam, and Soka Gakkai at Klang — listed earlier. All walk-ins are open from 2pm.
Anas also announced several offsite PPVs in Melaka, Penang, and Sarawak that will provide Covid-19 vaccination services for senior citizens from January 24. They include 11 PPVs in Melaka, 12 PPVs in Penang, and three PPVs in Sarawak. The list of offsite PPVs for the three states can be found here.
