Wary Of WBB Debacle, Doctor Groups Await Briefing On On-Call Allowance Raise

After the WBB debacle, doctor groups HDK and MMA will await an MOH briefing on the implementation of the 40% on-call allowance (ETAP) raise for medical officers that was announced in Budget 2026. HDK says doctors “felt cheated” by ETAP tied to WBB then.
