Retiree’s Health Insurance Premium Payments May Ultimately Exceed Sum Assured: PKR MPs

PKR MPs say a 74-year-old retiree faced a 78% hike in her annual health insurance premium to RM10,815 this year from 2023, after near yearly increases over the past decade. If this continues, the premiums she has paid will exceed the RM60,000 sum assured.
