The Drug Dependants (Treatment and Rehabilitation) (Amendment) Bill 2024 authorises AADK officers to apprehend, treat, and rehabilitate "drug dependants or misusers". Experts oppose mandatory rehab and question whether AADK can diagnose drug dependency.
