KUALA LUMPUR, May 7 — Malaysian health care technology company Mudah Healthtech recently marked a significant milestone at the soft launch of its Sihat Xpress kiosk at the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) Sandakan Wellness Hub.
The event was officiated by Health Minister Dzulkefly Ahmad, and Sandakan MP Vivian Wong was also in attendance.
“As Malaysia pivots toward a more resilient and preventative health care ecosystem, the Sandakan Wellness Hub is a testament to our strategic shift from ‘Sick Care’ to true ‘Health Care’ under the Agenda Nasional Malaysia Sihat (ANMS),” said Dzulkefly.

Mudah Healthtech’s Sihat Xpress Kiosk closes the health care gap between urban and rural areas, acting as a critical health care link — the real-time data collected allows for early detection of health issues, empowering individuals to seek medical advice before minor concerns become chronic conditions.
MEASAT Global Bhd, as the strategic partner, also supports the deployment of these satellite-powered kiosks through its high‑speed satellite connectivity and nationwide support ecosystem, reaching the most remote communities.
To date, this initiative has successfully served over 1,000 residents in remote Sabah communities, including Kampung Togop and Kampung Manikulau in Ranau, as well as Kampung Bonor in Sook District.
By leveraging high-speed satellite broadband, MEASAT and Mudah Healthtech, through its Sihat Xpress kiosk, have successfully dissolved geographical barriers by addressing the last mile challenges faced by rural communities, ensuring that technology serves as a bridge to equitable health care and digital inclusion for all Malaysians.
