MOH’s ‘Suka Sama Suka’ Posting Swap Launches In April: Minister

MOH’s “Suka Sama Suka” platform for health care workers of the same scheme to mutually swap postings will launch this April and be implemented in phases, says Health Minister Dzulkefly Ahmad. The platform is currently in the final stages of development.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 25 — The Ministry of Health’s (MOH) Mutual Posting Swap Platform, or “Suka Sama Suka”, for health care workers will be launched in April, Dzulkefly Ahmad announced today.

During his winding up of the debate on the motion of thanks for the royal address, the health minister told Parliament that health care professionals in the MOH will be able to use the platform to swap placements with each other.

“With this, I’d like to share that the MOH is in the final stages of developing the ‘Suka Sama Suka’ platform. The system will be implemented in phases and is targeted to launch in April 2025,” said Dzulkefly.

MOH deputy secretary-general (finance) Norazman Ayob previously told a town hall at the ministry’s Putrajaya headquarters last month that health care workers of the same scheme would be able to mutually swap placements without the involvement of the Human Resource Division (BSM).

“In principle, this will enable anyone to swap for reasons like their spouses, personal health, or family.”

He had targeted a June 1 launch. Dzulkefly’s announcement of an April launch means that the MOH is ahead of schedule.

Dzulkefly told parliamentarians today that based on the regular process of transfers, an officer can be considered for a transfer after working at a particular facility for at least three years.

“However, the MOH will always make considerations on a case-by-case basis if officers face difficulties like sick family members.”
