WHO says its World No Tobacco Day 2025 award for Health Minister Dr Dzul and two other Malaysians was based on achievements “up to a certain point”, in response to Malaysia issuing its first nicotine vape manufacturing licence around the time of the award.

Ispire Says ‘Currently Able’ To Manufacture ‘Wide Range Of Cannabis Hardware’ In Malaysia

US-based vape company Ispire Tech, which operates a factory in Johor, says in its quarterly report: "We are currently able to manufacture a wide range of cannabis hardware in Malaysia and import into the US", adding it doesn't "touch the cannabis plant".
