IHH Manages Insurance-Driven Delays As Patient Safety Events

IHH Healthcare is now managing payer-driven delays as safety issues, after coverage was denied for urgent surgery as the surgeon was inexplicably removed from the insurer’s panel, forcing the patient to be transferred. “This is the wrong kind of normal.”
