PMCare says it will honour claims for services rendered by existing panel doctors awaiting 2026 APC, but medical practitioners who want to join the TPA's panel must have a valid APC. Problems with APC renewal aren't new, with previous delays up to March.

Lawyers: MMC Not Authorised To Grant APC Waiver

Two lawyers say the Medical Act does not authorise MMC to waive the statutory requirement for a valid APC to practise medicine, and that practising without one remains a criminal offence. MMC's waiver doesn't protect doctors from legal action by patients.
