Malaysia’s Childhood Stunting Rises To 24%, Worse Than Poorer Neighbours

Unlike poorer neighbouring countries that improved on childhood stunting from 2000, Malaysia's childhood stunting is on an upward trend, reaching 24% in 2024—higher than Indonesia (23%), Cambodia (22%), Vietnam (19%), Thailand (12%), and Singapore (3%).
