Raise Doctors’ On-Call Allowance To RM25 Hourly — Malaysian Medical Association

MMA urges the government to raise doctors' on-call allowance by 173% from RM9.16 to RM25 hourly, citing MOH's statement last Feb that the new on-call rate would be announced "soon". Government doctors' on-call allowances haven't been revised since 2012.

Make MMC Presidency Elected, Not Appointment To Health DG: MMA

MMA demands reforms to the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC), saying the presidency should be an elected position. Under the Medical Act, the Health DG is appointed MMC president. MMA also says 80% of MMC members should be elected; only half now are elected.
