Protection For Female Doctors In Malaysian Public Hospitals — Klang Valley Specialist

A Klang Valley specialist urges MOH to learn from the rape and murder of India's Dr Moumita Debnath and protect women doctors, saying some public hospitals like HKL lack sufficient on-call rooms, forcing doctors to sleep in their cars in parking lots.

HKL Emergency Doctors Pull Double Shifts, Expect Staff Resignations And Longer Waiting Times As Relocation Nears

HKL emergency department is losing some 40 MOs from July 31 MO relocations. Already, HKL emergency doctors are pulling double shifts. As it is, patients in ED wait 3-6 hours to see a doctor; at least 1-2 days for ward admission; up to 4 days for ICU beds.
