The Greater Klang Valley Special Task Force has been “repurposed” into the National Rapid Response Task Force as a standing unit that can deploy resources to Covid-19 outbreaks quickly.
Covid-19 hospital admissions in the Klang Valley increased 35% from October 11 to 18 and began plateauing in Negeri Sembilan late September after a sharp decline from mid-July.
Daily hospital admissions, number of patients in hospital, ICU cases, and infections of Covid-19 in Selangor, KL, Putrajaya, and Negeri Sembilan as a whole dropped in the past few weeks, with half of the Greater Klang Valley’s total population fully vaccinated.
