The federal government wants all mosque and surau activities, including Friday prayers, to be suspended from March 17-26.

Perlis Mufti Dr Maza says Jakim has decided to support closing mosques for 10 days, with any extension or end of that period to be announced in future.

The Ministry of Health has advised against having public gatherings in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
