The government will conduct a dry run on January 29 to transport saline-filled bottles at minus 70 degrees Celsius from a Covid-19 vaccine storage centre in Sarawak to a vaccination site in Belaga district, Kapit, Sarawak.
To say that safety is far more important than efficacy of the vaccine is simplistic thinking, missing the true understanding of the science of vaccinology.
The government expects to recruit more than 10,000 vaccination staff, such as GPs, pharmacists, nurses, medical students, the Malaysian Red Crescent, St John Ambulance, and community volunteers in the national Covid-19 immunisation programme.
