Transfer Allowance Opened To Contract Doctors, Pharmacists, Dentists With 2025 Permanent Appointments: Minister

Health Minister Dr Dzul says the 2025 permanent appointments of contract medical, pharmacy, and dental officers are eligible for transfer allowances, calling it a "major policy win". For now, relocation allowances are only available for the 2025 cohort.

Like Doctors, Contract Pharmacists Also Ordered To Resign Before Accepting Permanent Posts

Just like over 1,000 contract doctors from the Oct 2 batch, over 400 contract pharmacists have been ordered by MOH to tender their resignations, effective Dec 18, when they report for duty in permanent posts, making them ineligible for relocation claims.

My doctor and pharmacist colleagues and I, who were calon simpanan, quit MOH before we received permanent post offers last Oct 2. But our resignations invalidated our offers. We want to be allowed to return, since this is considered a restart in service.
