The D614G mutation was found in Sabah’s Benteng LD cluster, Kedah clusters (Sivagangga PUI, Tawar, and Sungai cluster), and Johor’s Bukit Tiram cluster.
Sabah has now confirmed 937 Covid-19 cases in total, the state with the fourth highest number of cumulative infections, behind Kuala Lumpur in first place with 2,625 cases, Selangor (2,199), and Negri Sembilan (1,043).
Sabah has reported red zones in Tawau (335 cases) and Lahad Datu (94 cases), as well as yellow zones in Kunak (four cases), Kudat (three cases), Kinabatangan (one case), and Tuaran (one case).
