GEORGE TOWN, July 15 — Pantai Hospital Penang is the first private hospital in the northern region to conduct drive-through vaccination for the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Pantai Hospital Penang will do its bit for the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) by administering 200 to 250 doses per day.
It is one of seven private hospitals approved as vaccination centres (PPV) in Penang.
According to CEO Pan Wen Lek, the drive-through service is limited to 50 people per day and second dose recipients.
The drive-through PPV will operate from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 1pm.
“We hope that all Penangites can do their part in receiving their vaccines. We will always enhance the process to make the vaccination process better,” he added.
