I would like to thank the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) and the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) for providing Covid-19 vaccination for all medical and dental students in the Klang Valley and Selangor starting May 22, 2021. Thank you for listening to our voices.
With the Covid-19 vaccination, these students will be able to perform their duties (such as history taking, physical examinations and assisting in procedures) as part of their learning with more confidence and reduced anxiety.
They will be at lower risk of contracting and passing on the Covid-19 virus to the already vulnerable patients. The parents of these students will also be less worried about their safety.
We hope medical and dental students will be well-trained in this challenging period, and be able to serve the nation well in the future.
