Watsons Contributes To Elderly Community With Caring Gesture

Watsons Malaysia has donated essential products and health gifts to the Victory Elderly Home in Puchong.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 16 – To mark Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day celebrations this year, Watsons Malaysia has donated essential products and health gifts to the Victory Elderly Home in Puchong.

The donation aimed to inculcate the spirit of volunteering and contributing towards a good cause. Through this initiative, Watsons hopes to instil positive values and concern for the wellbeing and health of elderly citizens.

“Watsons is always committed to bringing a healthy lifestyle to our community. We want to give back and remind everyone that even during this difficult time, health and wellbeing are very important, especially for the elderly community, as they are among the most vulnerable in the midst of the ongoing pandemic. We hope to bring them love and happiness during this festive season,” said Caryn Loh, Managing Director of Watsons Malaysia.

Watsons has always been a destination for its customers and members to shop for health-related products such as supplements and vitamins to build up immune systems. With its vast selection of quality health products, Watsons is uniquely placed to remind the general public of the importance of personal hygiene.

“Watsons will continue to educate, raise awareness and provide essential goods to the public as the country continues to battle the Covid-19 pandemic,” Loh added.

The donation was received by Loo Choon Teong, who represented the Victory Elderly Home. The home currently houses 65 senior citizens.

Watsons also launched the Watsons Health 45+ programme for members aged 45 and above. Members will have access to health care consultation and discounts on vitamins, dispensary and pharmacy items.
