Malaysian Surgeon Ventilated In UK For Covid-19

Dr Tun Muzamal Wildan came from the Klang Valley.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 10 — A Malaysian surgeon is currently on ventilator support in the intensive care unit (ICU) in Birmingham, United Kingdom, for coronavirus.

According to Dr Amalina Bakri, another Malaysian surgeon based in the UK, Dr Tun Muzamal Wildan is in stable condition.

Nephrologist Dr Rafidah Abdullah told CodeBlue that Dr Tun Muzamal came from the Klang Valley.

“He was the same batch with me, BTU 6,” she said, referring to the sixth batch of the British Top Universities programme.

“We went to UK after SPM.”

The UK recorded 65,077 positive coronavirus cases and 7,978 deaths as at April 8.
