Paedophile Richard Huckle, Who Abused Malaysian Children, Killed In Prison

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 — British man Richard Huckle, who sexually abused almost 200 Malaysian babies and children and shared photographs of his assaults on the dark web, was stabbed to death in prison.

BBC reported today that the 33-year-old from Ashford, Kent, was attacked with a makeshift knife in his cell at Full Sutton Prison, a maximum security men’s prison, in York.

Huckle was given 22 life sentences in 2016 after admitting an unprecedented 71 offences, including rape, against children aged from six months to 12 years between 2006 and 2014.

The Guardian, which dubbed Huckle as among Britain’s worst predatory paedophiles, reported that he had posed as an English teacher and philanthropist in impoverished Christian communities in Kuala Lumpur.

Some of the 23 children identified in the criminal charges were reportedly abused for years, but the number of his victims was believed to be higher, as investigators found a ledger and scorecard on his computer, where Huckle gave himself marks for varying levels of abuse of 191 girls and boys.
