Exco: Don’t Include Melaka Hospital In Ghost Tour

Melaka Health and Anti-Drugs executive councillor Low Chee Leong says the pre-war hospital is not haunted.

KUALA LUMPUR, June 10 – A Melaka executive councillor has criticised the state government’s proposal to include pre-war Melaka Hospital in ghost tours at so-called “haunted” historical sites.

The Star reported Melaka Health and Anti-Drugs executive councillor Low Chee Leong as saying that the hospital, which opened in 1934, was not haunted as he has not seen any wandering souls during his visits late at night, nor have the security guards witnessed anything paranormal.

“There’s nothing ghostly here unlike the old Changi Hospital in Singapore,” Low was quoted saying.

He added that authorities have not received any report on so-called hauntings at the government hospital.
